Woah, It's 2015

I mean, seriously, for those 2 or 3 of you that are still reading, THANK YOU and I'm not sure why you hung around! The last post was from when Vivy was 2 months old?!?! She's 2 now. I'm not even gonna fib and say something like, "I resolve to write more in the New Year." Though, I should. I miss it. I'm just so random most of the time, but I guess if you know me at all, you know that's pretty much what you're gonna get.

Anyway, Vivy is 2 now. She started daycare months ago, and she still cries every morning. She's the sweetest little girl though and is only a chore when it's time to go to bed. You can always count on Vivy's tiny feet to run up and down the hallway, hours after both girls have gone to bed. She's smart, and she loves to read. Everything is "pink" to her (what's your favorite color? what flavor do you want? Yes, apparently "pink" is a flavor). She loves singing and dancing and taking pictures (I love that part!)

Addy is 5 now. She's in Kindergarten and has done both soccer and cheerleading. Addy is sassy and strong, opinionated and short-tempered (very much like daddy). She's still a champion sleeper, though, and you can always count on her to sleep right through all of Vivy's antics at night. We're trying to teach her to try more foods, but most nights if asked, she just wants "chicken and rice". Which means, EVERY meat we feed her is "chicken". Shhh! She is very much a princess and loves to be the center of attention.

Okay, that's your quick catch-up. How about some pictures?

Okay, no promises, but I'll try to be back more often than every three years!

Hi Kat! I don't know if you'll remember me, but I was just looking for something in my old emails and found an email with a comment you'd left on my blog after my son Cayden died in January 2009. We'd exchanged messages about a movie about baby loss, and so I hope you've seen Return to Zero. In my email, I said I wasn't holding my breath, but 5 years later and there actually is a film that captures so much of the intensity and despair of losing a child. Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and that your girls are beautiful. I hope all is well! Best, Paige
